About WEEE and RoHS
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
The
WEEE and RoHS directives are designed to tackle the waste stream of
electrical and electronic equipment. Producers will be responsible:
- for taking back and recycling electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE directive)
- for substituting hazardous substances in new equipment (RoHS directive).
